What inspired you to get into this line of work?
I got into insurance by accident, but the more I learned about it, the more I fell in love with this business. Life insurance oftentimes is the only thing keeping your loved ones from going into debt or losing their home when you pass away.
What's one piece of insight you wish all families knew?
If you need insurance (any type) don't limit yourself only to companies that you've heard of. Many people mistakenly assume that a company they "haven't heard of" is inherently bad. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are literally hundreds of life insurance companies in the USA, and less than 1% advertise nationally, so they're a household name. Don't seclude 99% of your options because you're committed to buying from a company that you're familiar with.
