What inspired you to get into this line of work?
I get to help people leave their legacy and plan for their incapacity as they intend. It is energizing to hear from clients that I have assisted them with taking control over their end-of-life planning. It is not an easy subject, but when done right, it provides so much relief and comfort, both before and after passing.
What's one piece of insight you wish all families knew?
Without estate plan documents, your family will have to go to court to act on your behalf during incapacity and to manage your estate after death. Those court processes are public record, slow and expensive. Proper planning can avoid the court in both incapacity and death, and ease financial and emotional stress.
